About the Floor is AR
This application builds upon the plane tracking feature of AR-Foundation, integrating the horizontal floor planes with the tile textures, giving an illusion of tiles on floor. This application is majorly used by tile manufacturers and distributers.
The Challenge
While buying a tile seller will show the customer a single tile and assume that design over hundreds of sq. ft. area is impossible. On top of it while buying to customer wants to match it with wall or roof of the house/place which is also tough.
The Solution
Often times, while buying tiles, it is not possible for people to find out whether the tiles would look good on their floors. Sometimes, they end up choosing the wrong tiles. This app solves the problem by allowing users to see how selected tiles would look on their floor, just with the click of a button.
This app has been made using Unity Game Engine.
